Maybe its the cabochon opal, or the white gold filigree, but to me this ring is dying to be Victorian. The cabochon cut of the stone inside the halo frame makes the large ring sit flush to the finger so she's a striking showstopper, but also streamline and practical for everyday wear. Moonstone is much more commonly seen in its cloudy white opaque form which makes this crystal clear beauty even more rare. She has that trademark moonstone directional flash of violet. I chose lilac sapphires to frame her to highlight the colour hiding in her ghostly hue.

The deeply included pink tourmaline teardrop centre stone was Jackie's choice and the earrings and deep blue sapphires support her. Whilst hunting for stones I found this stunning and unusually cut pink sapphire along with four emeralds in the shape too. The idea for this piece just came to me! Using the stones cut to play on the idea of what jewellery really is, a sparkling jewel! I loved making this piece, the humour of her, the colour combination. A ring that makes fun of herself! What's not to love? I dare you not to look at her and smile. Finished with tapered diamond baguette sparkles.
