Rubellite; a not actually a ruby but a tourmaline. Naturally occurring in this distinctive, deep hot ruby pink shade that earns her name. Getting a really nice one is hard but worth it as a ruby this size would have an unthinkable price tag. Set into 18ct to celebrate the richness of the colour and framed in my asymmetric gold claws. 

Pair 'Bad Taste' with 'Good Faith' and you've got yourself a matching set. Irregular apart but together they create two clawed hands holding the finger from each side. The latter wears her own miniature version of this ring.
