Sue inherited her Mother's opal ring. It was a family heirloom that had travelled the world on her Mother's finger for many an adventure, but it needed a revamp to make it truly Sue's ring. After long deliberations I created this clawed casing to hold the piece complete with its original filigree setting and encrusted with I don't know how many other stones. One of the most challenging, and most rewarding pieces I've ever made. She's a showstopper.
