This is one of my favourite opals! I had her cut from a large rock of stunning raw opal I sourced quite a long time ago and the piece only made two stones. The faceted cabochon cut of the heart is of my own design. I love this stone because inside looks like a fluffy white cloud has been trapped, floating alone forever. (You can see the cloud better in a video, email and ask for it if you're interested.) But the true secret of this piece lies underneath, perching that thick gold protective frame, stands a row of sparkling stone hearts, like warriors, protecting her.
