A huge, magical opal teardrop hangs at the centre of this necklace set in warm glowing solid gold setting. An ethereal pigeon shit from the fantasy birds of my dreams. An encrusted silver nugget on the left set with a pink sapphire and tourmaline along with a drip of limey peridot and a silver claw hang on the right too. The design includes mixed chain styles and handmade links, bar and hoop fastenings. The chain is solid and chunky, the whole necklace quite heavy and feels substantial. 

Ethiopian opal care instruction: This stone is slightly absorbent so needs to avoid dirty water, oils and perfumes. If left submerged in clean water it may go clear but a will dry out again after. The setting has been designed to protect the stone from body contact for this reason.
